Meet Gayle
I’ve lived in and around Auburn my whole life. Aside from college, this is home. I don’t just know the neighborhoods — I know the back roads, the hidden river spots, the wineries, and the stories that make these foothill communities so special. I have a memory in practically every corner of the area.
Now in my 11th year in real estate, I’m proud to be a consistent top-producing agent serving Auburn and the surrounding foothills. My business has grown almost entirely through referrals, which means I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible people — often more than once, and often with their friends and family. One of the things I love most about this job is how closely we work together for a season. We strategize, problem-solve, negotiate, celebrate… and then the house sells and there’s that funny little mix of happy and “wait, I’m going to miss this.” Those relationships are what make this work meaningful to me.
I graduated from Placer High School and earned a BA in English/American Literature along with a California State Teaching Credential from UC Santa Cruz. I returned home to teach 6th grade for ten years. (If you can manage a classroom full of middle schoolers, you can absolutely handle a real estate negotiation.) That background — along with running my own small business — shaped the patience, communication skills, and steady perspective I bring to every transaction, especially when unexpected hiccups arise.
I’m currently with Guide Real Estate and spent the first decade of my career with Lyon Real Estate and Windermere, where I built a strong foundation in contracts, marketing strategy, and high-level client service. I’m also a Certified Luxury Agent within Guide’s Luxury Division. As a longtime local and active golf member at Winchester Country Club — and having represented clients within the community — I understand the lifestyle, expectations, and market nuances of luxury living in the foothills.
I’m equally experienced with country and rural properties — from wells and septic systems to acreage, access, and the practical realities of living on land. Foothill real estate comes with its own set of considerations, and I know how to navigate those details while connecting clients with the right local experts along the way.
Since 2018, I’ve proudly sponsored and helped coordinate the Auburn Vintage Home Tour, developing a special appreciation — and reputation — for the vintage and historic homes that give downtown Auburn so much of its character.
Deep local roots, proven results, strategic marketing, and calm, confident negotiation — that’s what I bring to the table every time.
